Our Impact

Rescue and Rehabilitation

And just like that, we’ve surpassed 500 patients in the rehabilitation clinic.

Thanks to the care and dedication of rehabilitation staff and volunteers, numerous songbirds and raptors have gotten a second chance at life in the wild. Plus, 64 orphaned waterbirds, from gulls to gadwalls, are back in the wild thanks to the care of our rehabilitation staff and volunteers.  

Education and Outreach

It was a busy summer for the Education team!

• 19 Ambassador Bird Programs at Bird TLC

• 28 Ambassador Bird Programs at the Alaska Botanical Garden

• 17 Ambassador Bird Programs at the Alaska Public Lands Information Center

• 20 Ambassador Bird Programs for tour groups

• Plus, Avian Adventures Summer Camp, Avian Teen Crew, and numerous private programs.
