Love Hurts Fundraiser
This fundraiser is a creative and cathartic way to get back at your ex!
With a donation of $10.00, we’ll feed a mealworm named after your ex to Girdie, American Crow, or Shavila, Black-billed Magpie.
Need to go bigger for full closure? Donate $100.00, and we'll feed a rat named after your ex to one of our raptors!
Please donate in the name of an actual ex, not a public figure.
We do not say the last name of the ex or the name of the donor to protect privacy.
Donations will be taken through the close of business on Wednesday, 2/12/25.
A video of the mealworms being eaten by Girdie and Shavila will be posted on social media.
Videos of rats being eaten by raptors will be emailed to the donors. We do not feed live rats. Due to the overwhelming response to this fundraiser, some videos will not arrive until after Valentine’s Day. Thank you for understanding.
Outside of business hours, place injured or orphaned birds inside a secure container with breathing holes (such as a box or kennel) and put the container in a quiet, dark room away from human and pet traffic. We monitor our voicemail throughout the evening and on weekends and will call you back to provide instructions for overnight care or to arrange a drop-off at the clinic.
